Expressing support for designation of September 2010 as "National Prostate Cancer Awareness Month".

(This measure has not been amended since it was introduced. The summary of that version is repeated here.) Expresses support for the designation of National Prostate Cancer Awareness Month. Declares that steps should be taken to: (1) raise awareness about prostate cancer screening and treatment; (2) support research so that the screening and treatment of prostate cancer may be improved and the causes of, and a cure for, prostate cancer may be discovered; and (3) improve access to, and the quality of, health care services for detecting and treating prostate cancer.
